You’re invited to join ASCE Golden Gate Branch at our January 2023 meeting, featuring a presentation on the Bel-Marin Keys Wetlands Restoration Project. Dilip Triverdi and Russ Barnes will be the presenters. The CA State Coastal Conservancy team is building the Bel-Marin Keys Unit 5 Phase Project. The project is the next phase of the former Hamilton Field AFB wetlands restoration effort. The project includes the construction of a new levee from materials harvested on site and the creation of season wetlands all of which will create a barrier to flooding for the neighboring communities.The Phase I contract is now substantially complete

Speakers:
Dr. Dilip Trivedi is the coastal engineering principal at Moffatt & Nichol. He has been the lead on the efforts of many waterfront projects including the Bel Marin Key Wetlands Restoration Project.
Mr. Barnes is a senior construction manager with Wilshire Consulting Services. He has over 40 years on construction management experience on many projects including levee construction and dredging.
